Human  Physiology is the science of mechanical, physical, and biochemical function of humans and serves as the foundation of modern medicine. As a discipline it connects science, medicine and health and creates a frame work for understanding how the human body adapts to stresses , physical activity and diseases.

The department of physiology, AIIMS Deoghar started  its journey in 2019. The department serves to the needs of students by imparting theoretical and practical skills. The department conducts practical sessions for undergraduate medical students.
