Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology was started in October 2020. At present the department is in its developing stage and faculties are engaged in teaching undergraduate medical students to meet the challenges encountered in medico legal work in future. The department is setting up a modernized mortuary with different ancillary laboratories for conduction of academic activity, research and medico-legal works. The department also aims to conduct webinar/CMEs/workshops /conferences regularly to strengthen the legal knowledge and practice of clinical forensic medicine.

• Medicolegal training to Advocate, Magistrates, Police personals and Medical officers.
